DhanTrack — Privacy Policy

Overview

DhanTrack is a local-first Android application for personal investment tracking. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal or financial data. All data you enter is stored exclusively on your device.

Data collection

DhanTrack collects no data. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no registration. The app has no servers and makes no network requests. No data ever leaves your device.

Data storage

All data (mutual fund holdings, equity positions, fixed deposits, SIP plans, app settings, PIN) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data. The optional JSON export feature creates a backup file in your device storage — this file is controlled entirely by you and is never sent anywhere automatically.

Third-party services

DhanTrack uses no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or tracking libraries.

Permissions

• Storage (read/write) — used only for the optional JSON export/import backup feature.

No network, location, contacts, camera, or microphone permissions are requested or used.

Data security

Your data never leaves your device. Access to the app is protected by a PIN you set. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for the security of any exported backup files.

Children

DhanTrack is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. The app will always remain local-first with no data collection.
